China Pharmaceutical University

China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) is a top-ranked, research-oriented university in Nanjing, China, founded in 1936. It is a national key university under the "211 Project" and "Double First-Class" initiatives, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical sciences and related disciplines.

The university has two campuses, Xuanwumen and Jiangning, and is known for its history as China's first independent school of pharmacy and for its strong graduate employment rates. 

1. Silk Road Scholarship Program

The Silk Road Scholarship Program, established by the Ministry of Education of China (MOE), aims to strengthen people-to-people connections, support talent development, and promote mutual growth. This program is designed for students from countries along the Belt and Road Initiative to pursue degree studies in China.

Entrusted by the MOE, China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) recruits international students from relevant countries and regions under this scholarship program.

Ⅰ. Basic Information and Duration of the Scholarships

Coverage of the Scholarship:

• Tuition waiver
• Accommodation: Free university dormitory (twin room) provided by CPU
• Monthly stipend:

Bachelor’s students: CNY 2,500 per month

Master’s students: CNY 3,000 per month

PhD students: CNY 3,500 per month

Within the scholarship period, registered students will receive their stipend monthly from China Pharmaceutical University (CPU).

2. Bachelor’s Degree Scholarships — Categories, Coverage, and Duration

• Bachelor’s programs taught in Chinese: 19,000 RMB per year for 4 years
• Bachelor’s programs taught in English: 19,000 RMB per year for 4 years

Certain English-taught programs (special category): 20,000 RMB per year for 4 years

Notes:

• This is a partial scholarship that does not cover accommodation, insurance, or living expenses.
• Students must pay any remaining balance if the scholarship does not fully cover the tuition fee.
