Malaysian International Scholarship (MIS)
- Coverage: Air tickets, approved tuition fees, monthly maintenance allowance, annual grant for books and internal travel, medical/health insurance, installation and termination grant, thesis allowance (for PhD and Post-Doctoral only), conference travel grant and journal publication grant (PhD and Post-Doctoral only)
- Eligibility: Not more than 45 years of age, minimum Second Class Upper (Honours) or CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at Bachelor Degree Level for Master’s Degree applicants, CGPA 3.5/4.0 or very good result at Master’s degree level for PhD candidates, English language proficiency test scores (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 580/230/92), excellent health condition, relevant research proposal, admission to postgraduate/post-doctoral studies in Malaysia
- How to apply: Apply online through Ministry of Higher Education’s portal (https://biasiswa.mohe.gov.my/INTER/login.php), register passport number or national identification number, fill in application form, attach required documents (photograph, medical report, passport copy, academic transcripts, study/research plan, English proficiency certificate, CV, admission letter, recommendation letters, endorsement form), scan and submit documents online
