Funding

Scholarships

UBC devotes more than $35 million annually to awards, scholarships, and other forms of financial support for international undergraduate students. Additionally, international graduate students may be eligible for the International Tuition Award, which provides up to $3,200 per year for full-time research-oriented master’s and doctoral programs. Named scholarships include the International Scholars program, Beyond Tomorrow Scholars Program, Presidential Scholars Awards, Schulich Leader Scholarships, and UBC Centennial Scholars Entrance Awards.

International Tuition Award

  • Coverage: Up to $3,200 per year towards tuition fees

  • How to apply: No application required; all eligible students are automatically considered. Awards are assigned on Workday.
