Community and Child Safety Standards

These standards apply to IMS Hub Connect, the adults-only community path operated by IMS HUB INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. They apply to every Connect profile, photo, caption, bio, introduction, shared contact method, report, and other interaction connected with the service.

Connect is separate from the Academic path and IMS Advisor. An IMS account requires a minimum age of 13, while Connect is available only to people who are 18 or older. Misrepresenting age or helping a minor access Connect is prohibited.

1. Respect, Authenticity, and Consent

• Use accurate identity, age, student, photo, and city-presence details. Do not interfere with the foreground city checks that keep an active 24-hour Connect presence current.
• Do not impersonate another person, use stolen or deceptive photos, falsify verification evidence, or create fraudulent profiles.
• Respect a person's decision to ignore, disconnect, revoke contact access, report, or block. Never pursue unwanted contact.
• Obtain consent before sharing another person's image, contact information, private communication, or personal information.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Connect does not allow:

• Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualization of minors, or child sexual abuse material, including computer-generated or altered material.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, predatory conduct, sexual solicitation, or coercion.
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech, or degrading conduct based on a protected characteristic.
• Credible threats, glorification or instruction for violence, terrorism, dangerous acts, or encouragement of suicide or self-harm.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, identity theft, impersonation, deceptive fundraising, or manipulation for money, documents, credentials, or access.
• Doxxing, privacy invasion, credential exposure, location tracking, or sharing personal information without authorization.
• Illegal goods or services, controlled substances, weapons, trafficking, or instructions primarily intended to facilitate illegal conduct.
• Spam, automated or repetitive requests, malicious links, malware, location spoofing, platform manipulation, or attempts to evade a safety restriction.
• Content that infringes intellectual-property rights or otherwise violates applicable law.

3. Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

IMS has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This prohibition includes grooming, sexual extortion, trafficking, solicitation, sexualizing a minor, facilitating access to a minor, or possessing, requesting, creating, linking to, distributing, or threatening to distribute CSAM. It applies to real, altered, synthetic, and computer-generated depictions.

Never upload, resend, download, or create copies of suspected CSAM to make a report. Use the in-app reporting control or contact the designated safety address with non-graphic identifying information. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

4. Reporting, Blocking, and User Controls

• Use the in-app Safety action on a Connect profile to submit a private report with the most relevant reason and useful context.
• Blocking immediately hides both profiles, stops pending introductions, and revokes future access to contact methods shared through IMS.
• Reports are not shown to the reported person. IMS may preserve the reported public-profile evidence and relevant safety records for review, enforcement, appeals, fraud prevention, and legal duties.
• Do not misuse reporting to harass another user or submit knowingly false information.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

IMS reviews reports according to risk and may use trained personnel, technical signals, and retained evidence. Depending on severity, context, history, and legal requirements, IMS may warn a user, limit discovery or contact access, remove content, require correction, suspend Connect access, terminate an account, preserve evidence, or refer a matter to an appropriate authority.

Urgent child-safety, self-harm, credible-threat, sexual-exploitation, and privacy risks receive priority triage. A severe violation may result in immediate restriction without prior warning. IMS may act against conduct outside the app when it creates a credible risk to Connect users or the integrity of the service.

6. CSAM Response and Legal Cooperation

When IMS obtains actual knowledge of apparent CSAM, IMS will act to remove or disable access, restrict access to the evidence, preserve legally required records, and report confirmed matters to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or the relevant regional authority where required by applicable law. IMS cooperates with lawful requests from competent authorities.

7. Appeals and Safety Contact

A person affected by an enforcement decision may request review by contacting IMS with the account email, relevant IMS identifier, and a concise explanation. An appeal does not automatically pause a safety restriction.

8. Publication and Review

Effective July 30, 2026. IMS reviews these standards as the product, legal duties, and safety risks change. Material updates may require renewed acceptance of the IMS Terms and Conditions.
